Extensive damage done in Kanata South house fire

Ottawa fire investigators are working to determine the cause of a blaze on Nordmann Fir Court in Kanata South.

Crews were called to the house fire before 2:30 a.m., Saturday, March 27.

Officials describe the fire as being “heavily involved” by the time crews arrived on scene, and flames were extending to an adjacent home. A second alarm was called for.

All occupants, including one pet, were all safely rescued from the house.
