The City of Ottawa has signed its integrity commissioner to stay on for another five years.

In a memo to Ottawa city councillors on Monday, July 11, Rick O'Connor, city clerk, noted that Karen Shepherd's term will now come to an end on August 31, 2027.

Shepherd was hired last fall for an initial one-year term. She replaced retiring integrity commissioner Robert Marleau.
