L&A OPP locate person missing since Dec. 24 deceased

Officers of the Lennox & Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have located a missing person deceased.

Laurie Simpson, 63, was reported missing on Dec. 24 by family members that were concerned for his well-being after he was last seen exiting his residence to perform several farm chores. A search was conducted by members of the OPP Emergency Response Team and Greater Napanee Fire Department.

No foul play is suspected, and the death is believed to be non-suspicious. A post-mortem will be held in the near future.
