No injuries in South Gloucester garage fire

There are no injuries reported following an early morning fire in the Leitrim area of South Gloucester.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting heavy smoke and flames coming from a townhome garage in the 400 block of Stalwart Crescent shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday, June 17.
A working fire was declared when crew arrived on scene and a fast attack was initiated by firefighters.
Crews had the fire under control within 30 minutes and kept it contained to the garage, with no spread to the rest of the unit or any neighbouring units.
An OFS investigator has been dispatched to the scene to determine the cause.
