Ottawa fire respond to small blaze on Cummings Island

Ottawa Fire Services were called to Cummings Island on Sunday night put out a small brush fire.
Crews responded to the Cummings Bridge on Montreal Road, near Vanier Parkway, around 7 p.m.
Firefighters initially sprayed the blaze from the bridge before sending water technicians to the island to put out the hot spots.
