Ottawa MP considering run at Ontario’s Liberal leadership

An Ottawa area member of parliament (MP) is seriously considering running for the Ontario Liberal leadership.
Ottawa Centre MP Yasir Naqvi The Sam Laprade Show on Dec. 19 that he has been approached by several people to run for the Ontario Liberal leader position.
“I owe it to my party and to my province in particular to give it a serious thought and that's what I am doing by talking to as many people across the province as possible,” he said.
MP Naqvi said he's concerned by the direction the current government is taking the province, and he feels he has the leadership skills to lead Ontario.
