Ahmad Elyasi, Salah Borji, Jerzy Sikorski and Jane Wilson are all getting some bonus holiday money after playing the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's (OLG) Instant Lucky Aces game and Lotto 6/49.

Elyasi and Borji are splitting $250,000. The two say they've been playing the lottery together for seven years, and this is their first big win.

The two friends work in the restaurant business together, and say they started jumping up and down when they played their ticket and realized they won $250,000.

“My heart was beating so fast, I was shaking,” Borji said.

He plans to pay some bills and put a down payment on a home while Elyasi wants to to pay some bills and put some money aside for his teenage son's future.

Their winning ticket was purchased at King's Your Independent Grocer on Perth Street in Richmond.

Sikorski and Wilson won second prize on the August 11, 2021 Lotto 6/49 draw, which netted them more than $226,000.

Their winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca.
