Power outages restored in Britannia and Heron Gate areas

Hydro Ottawa has restored power for 2,141 customers in the Britannia and Heron Gate areas.
More than 1,600 residents were without electricity in the Britannia area — on Carling Avenue, Richmond Road, Ahearn Avenue, Grenon Avenue, Dumaurier Avenue — Tuesday morning, but that had been repaired as of 10 a.m.
Hydro Ottawa continued to work on the outage in the Holly Lane, Heron Road, Briarhill Drive, Sandalwood Drive area and had that problem resolved just a couple hours later.
