Redblacks investigating after reports of unruly fans

By Jenn Pritchard

The Ottawa Redblacks sent out a statement hours after winning the East Division title saying they were now investigating reports of unruly fans.

A story in the Ottawa Sun, reported that snow was dumped on a young Hamilton Tiger-Cats fan with special needs after Ottawa's big win.

“This type of situation is not at all in line with the Redblacks culture,” Mark Goudie, CEO of OSEG. “We take great pride in being an inclusive, fun and welcoming community and to hear of this type of conduct is not acceptable. We will now go about getting all of the facts and will respond accordingly.”

The team said that more information would be released as it comes available.
