Saunders Farm implements COVID-19 vaccination policy for staff, visitors

Following in the footsteps of numerous event organizers like Bluesfest and the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, who recently announced mandatory COVID-19 vaccines for guests, Saunders Farm has decided to implement a policy of its own.
Everyone who is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine must be fully inoculated against the virus if they want to visit Saunders Farm this fall.
Both doses of the novel coronavirus vaccine must be administered 14 days before entering the farm.
Saunders Farm officials say those who do not agree with this policy or who are not fully vaccinated and have already purchased tickets for an event this season may use their ticket for next year's events.
On its website, the farm said, “Should you be frustrated by these policies, we appreciate that frustration, as small business owners the last 18 months have been nothing short of frustrating for us, as well, but ask that you remain respectful of our decisions and policies.”
All farm employees must also be fully vaccinated against the virus by September 24.
Upcoming events at Saunders Farm include pumpkin season and Frightfest, as well as The Sawmill at Lansdowne Park.
