South Ottawa home destroyed by fire

Ottawa fire investigators are on the scene of a blaze on Russell Road at Walkley Road.

Firefighters were called to a stretch of rowhouses around 11:30 p.m., Thursday.

Everyone inside the home at 2330 Russell Rd. managed to get out safely and no injuries have been reported.

One of the attached homes also suffered some damage.

Its not yet known what started the blaze or the exact amount of damage to the property.
