Street parking enforcement resumes in Ottawa

The City of Ottawa will once again start to enforce parking restrictions in the city.
Restrictions were eased on city streets in the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
By-law officers will start by issuing warning notices on Monday to cars that are parked in spots longer than the designated time allows. Then on July 6, officers will start to issue tickets to those in violation of the posted rules.
Parking control officers will still not be enforcing overtime parking on streets without signs, until further notice.
