Temporary closure of Queen Elizabeth Driveway for fireworks

The New Year's fireworks display will temporarily close the Queen Elizabeth Driveway and surrounding pathways, between Fifth Avenue and Bank Street, at midnight, Jan. 1, 2023.

The National Capital Commission (NCC) is urging residents to exercise caution and follow on-site signage. The closure is necessary to ensure public safety during the Hogman-eh! fireworks display at Lansdowne Park.
