Sanford took home player of the week honours earlier this season during the week of June 7 to June 12, after tying the Frontier League’s single-game RBI record with 10.
The 24-year-old is in his third season of professional baseball after being drafted in the third round by the New York Yankees in the 2019 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft.
The only two other members of the Titans to have won league honours this season include infielder Jackie Urbaez and left-handed pitcher Evan Grills.
