Brockville resident awoken by stranger in home

The Brockville Police Service is investigating a break-in at a home on Windsor Drive.
Officials said a man entered a house around at 4 a.m., waking the resident. As soon as the suspect was confronted, he fled.
Police caught up with the suspect a short distance away.
Although the man attempted to evade arrest by providing a false name to officers, he was taken into custody where he is being held until his court date.
