Burning car shuts down Montreal Road for hours

The Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit continues to investigate a burned out car on Montreal Road.

Officers responded to an incident between Hwy 174 and Bearbrook Road around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday and arrived on scene to find a body inside the vehicle.

Police told 1310 NEWS that the death is not considered suspicious.

Montreal Road has since re-opened.
