More than 26 lbs of weed found in Gatineau apartment raid

A 29-year-old Gatineau man faces several drug and firearm-related charges following a police operation in Hull.
Gatineau police officers had been watching an apartment at 57 Saint-Joseph Blvd for a week, before moving in to make an arrest Friday morning.
A search warrant yielded nearly 26-pounds of weed, over three thousand dollars in cash, a 9-mm pistol and ammunition.
The execution of the search warrant allowed the police to seize:
– More than 26 lbs of illegal cannabis
– $3,260 in Canadian currency
– A 9 mm pistol
– Ammunition
The accused is appearing before the Court of Quebec Friday afternoon.
