One dead and one with serious injuries in pair of Gatineau police investigations

The Gatineau Police Service has two crime scenes taped off in the Hull area, after one man was found dead and another was found with serious injuries.
Officers were called to an apartment on Montpetit Street around 7 a.m., Wednesday, where they found a man with serious injuries.
He was quickly taken to hospital for treatment.
No other details are being made available in this case at this time, so not to interfere with the current investigation.
Meanwhile, just a couple hours after the call on Montpetit Street, Gatineau police was called to 100 Gamelin St., concerning an injured person.
The man was taken to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators and police officers from the Forensic Identification Service were called to the scene.
An autopsy will be performed on the body of the deceased to help investigators determine the causes and circumstances that led to his death.
