Ottawa man identified as victim in Oshawa homicide

An Ottawa man has been identified as the victim of a homicide that happened earlier this week in Oshawa.

Durham Regional Police identified the victim as Saeid Mabrok Saeed Salem, 20.

According to police, Salem was found Monday at about 9:40 p.m. inside a white Toyota on Madison Avenue and has suffered “obvious” signs of trauma.

Salem later died in hospital.

Durham police continue their investigation.
