Ottawa police identify victim of weekend Vanier homicide as 40-year-old man

Ottawa police have released the identity of the victim of a weekend homicide that happened in Vanier.
Jayco Patridge, 40, was stabbed on Hannah Street near Montreal Road on Saturday, January 22.
Police were called to the scene at about 6:20 a.m. where they located the man with life-threatening injuries.
Patridge was transported to hospital in serious condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
Police named 28-year-old Devon Wynne as a suspect who is wanted for second-degree murder in connection to the homicide (pictured below).
If seen, police ask the public to call 911.
