Ottawa police looking for suspect after string of garbage fires in Blackburn Hamlet

Ottawa police arson investigators are asking for the public's help to figure out who started a series of fires in the Blackburn Hamlet area.
Police responded to three separate garbage fires on Orient Park Drive and Innes Road, around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29.
Officers say the fires were all extinguished and there was minor property damage at each location.
Police say there are currently no suspects in these cases, but they believe that all three are related.
Investigators are asking residents in this area, who may have video surveillance or doorbell camera footage, or anyone with information about these incidents to contact the Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 3771.
