Ottawa police looking for suspected Dodge Ram thieves

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public's help to identify two men involved in the theft of a pick-up truck.

The owner of the 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 had listed the vehicle for sale on multiple social media platforms and met with a potential buyer in Osgoode on July 28, 2021. 

Police say two men arrived and asked to take the vehicle for a test drive, but never returned.

Suspect one is described as:

  • White
  • Mid-20s
  • 5' 9'' (175 cm)
  • Short curly blond hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans

Suspect two is described as:

  • White
  • Mid-20s
  • Long dark black hair
  • Was wearing a dark sweater and blue jeans

The vehicle was bearing the Ontario licence plate '4159VM' at the time, with a black Thule roof rack, and a 'Jenda' sticker on the rear passenger-side window.

Anyone with information about this incident, can identify the suspects, or has seen the vehicle, is asked to contact the East Criminal Investigations Section at 613-236-1222 ext. 3566.
