Ottawa police searching for arsonist after three fires in Osgoode

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help with investigations into three separate fires that officers believe were deliberately set in Osgoode.
Emergency crews responded to a small fire was outside a home on Eloise Crescent, around 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1. Officials say some sports equipment was set on fire.
Minutes later, patrol officers responded to a vehicle fire at an adjacent property. Two vehicles had been set on fire and were severely damaged.
Later Wednesday morning, police say someone attempted to set fire to a mobile toilet in on Bramble Lane. The blaze did minor damage.
All three fires have been deemed to be arsons and are being investigated by the Ottawa Police Service Arson Unit.
