FOUND: Police looking for 72-year-old man last seen in Vanier

Ottawa police are looking for a missing 72-year-old man who was last seen in the Vanier area.

Donald Fairchild of Ottawa was last seen at around 1:30 p.m. on foot. He suffers from dementia but still has good mobility so there are concerns for his safety and wellbeing. 

Fairchild is described as a white male, 6'2″, stocky build, has short white hair, is clean shaven, and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black mask. 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 613-236-1222.

If you have information that can help investigators but don't know Fairchild's current whereabouts, please contact the Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 2355 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
