Police looking for suspect in National War Memorial desecration

Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to the desecration of the National War Memorial.

Police said they’re looking for a woman who was filmed and photographed on the War Memorial on Saturday, January 29.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman with an average build, who wore a white winter jacket with some yellow on the front, a black toque with a symbol on the front, black winter pants and grey and white shoes.

She was also carrying a black backpack.
