Police looking to identify two suspects wanted in Lowertown shooting

Ottawa police are investigating an overnight shooting in the ByWard Market area.

Police say the shooting happened on the 300 block of York Street around Nelson Street and Beausoleil Drive at about 11:20 p.m. Friday.

It’s believed it was a targeted shooting, but no injuries were sustained.

The Guns and Gangs Unit is looking for the public’s help in identifying two people of interest, who are pictured above. 

Any witnesses to the shooting and any witnesses who can identify either person of interest, are asked to contact the Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5050.
