Police release photos of Westboro knifepoint bike robbery suspect

The Ottawa Police Service is releasing photos of a man wanted in a knifepoint robbery in Westboro, with the hope that a member of the public might be able to identify him.

Two young people were robbed of their bikes near intersection of Byron Avenue and Kirkwood Avenue, around 6 p.m. on Monday, May 24.

The suspect, who was captured on video surveillance at the Blair Station on same day, is described as:

  • White or Indigenous
  • 5' 7'' (170 cm)
  • Slim build 
  • Was wearing a grey Puma track suit

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5116.
