Victim identified in Nepean homicide as police investigation continues

A 25-year-old man is being identified as the victim of a stabbing on Sherry Lane in Nepean.

Ottawa police officers were called to a home in a neighbourhood just west of Woodroffe Avenue and north of Hunt Club Road, around 1:30a.m., Thursday, July 22, and found a dead man.

The victim's name is Christopher Avery Houghton.

Police say the investigation continues and they are asking anyone with information about the stabbing to contact the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5493.
