Bobcat missing for almost two weeks from North Grenville zoo found safe

By CityNews Ottawa

A bobcat that had been missing from a North Grenville zoo for more than a week has been found safe.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says the big cat, named Brett Cody, went missing from Saunders Country Critter Zoo and Sanctuary near Kemptville sometime during the weekend of June 5.

It was determined that the bobcat was let out of its cage on purpose.

On Wednesday, the OPP announced that Brett Cody was found thanks to a member of the public.

The OPP continues to investigate the incidents which led to the cat being released.
