Rideau Ferry Country Home declares COVID-19 outbreak

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at the Rideau Ferry Country Home, a retirement residence located near the Lower Rideau Lake.

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit confirmed that one staff member had tested positive for the virus.

After an outbreak is declared, the unit does not report on further cases or status of cases.

The facility is responsible for the information about their staff and residents so they decide whether or not to release personal information.
