Driver pulled from vehicle after driving head-on into trees near Carp

One person had to be pulled from their vehicle following a single-vehicle collision north of Carp.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to the crash around 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Thomas A. Dolan Parkway and Carp Road.

Fire crews arrived to find the vehicle had slammed head-on into some trees, leaving the driver pinned with gas leaking from the vehicle.

Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and safely extricated the driver about 25 minutes after arriving on scene.
