Boy assaulted at hockey game

TIMMINS, ON – – Police have said a woman is facing an assault charge after an incident following a weekend hockey game.

Staff sergeant Martin Wallingford said it’s alleged a woman cross-checked an 11-year-old boy with a hockey stick on Sunday.

Police are not releasing any names to protect the identity of the boy.
