Assange stays behind bars

Britain’s High Court is going to hear a Swedish appeal of a British judge’s decision to grant bail to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Assange’s lawyers say that means it will take at least another 48 hours before he can be freed from a London jail.

Assange is wanted on a Swedish arrest warrant in a sex-crimes investigation and plans to fight extradition.
