Snow’s a-comin’: 5-10 centimetres expected

The capital is in for a snowy Saturday.
The snow, lasting from morning until night, is expected to cause reduced visibility and deteriorated road conditions.
“Always the case with snow or snow flurries, (but) the good news is with this, there’s not much in the way of wind,” said meteorologist Richard Zurawski. “But every time you get snow, you do have reduced visibilities and it does make things greasy out there.”
Zurawski says Saturday’s storm is packing a light, fluffy snow — not heavy, wet, “heart attack snow,” as he calls it.
The storm was expected to dump 5 to 10 centimetres of snow as it moved across southern Ontario and toward the capital. Areas in Eastern Ontario were expected to get the highest amounts.
