Ottawa man facing charges after standoff

A 38-year-old Ottawa man faces a number of charges after a standoff in Grey County.
It started on February 2 when items were stolen from a pickup truck in the parking lot of a used car dealership in Flesherton.
The theft was discovered the next day and police caught up with the suspect shortly thereafter.
The suspect wouldn’t stop for police and a brief standoff ensued.
Clinton Pelletier faces charges of dangerous driving, theft under $5000, possession of stolen goods under $5000, failure to comply with bail conditions, failure to stop for police, and driving while suspended.
