City crews can’t clear snow-covered sidewalks fast enough

The combination of rain and snow over the weekend has left city sidewalks in a mess.
The city is working overtime to clear the snow.
Coun. Marianne Wilkinson tells the Ottawa Citizen people have to understand when there is such a heavy snowfall it takes time.
Sidewalks can’t be cleared in one sweep, Wilkinson says, because each sidewalk has to be done several times.
