Condo towers planned for bus depot

Comments by former Mayor Larry O’Brien to move the Catherine Street bus depot to the VIA Rail train station has prompted its’ owner to come up with a back-up for the site.
Stewart Robertson tells the Sun he will ask City Hall to re-zone the property to allow mixed-use development that would include two condo towers.
However, if the bus station doesn’t leave, Robertson says he would like to improve the building.
