Air Canada working toward labour peace

Air Canada has taken its first step toward ensuring labour peace with its employees for the next couple of years.
It has inked a tentative agreement with its three-thousand pilots.
The deal must still be approved by both the pilot’s union and the airline’s board of directors.
Even if it is approved, the airline still has a long way to go in working out agreements with all of its more than 22-thousand employees.
The union representing 38-hundred customer service and sales agents has applied for conciliation.
Negotiations with the union representing 65-hundred flight attendants aren’t due to start until next month.
No date has been announced for talks with the union representing baggage handlers and mechanics.
