House arrest and a driving ban for nearly two years, that’s a judge’s decision in the case of an Ottawa man who got angry with his family when they didn’t want to leave a party and decided to drive along Woodroffe Avenue with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit at speeds of 100 km/h.
He ended up slamming into a light post at Hunt Club Road.
The court was told when his wife asked him to stop he said “they were all going to hell,” including his two daughters who were in the car with him.
