Senators GM Bryan Murray agrees to three-year contract

OTTAWA – Ottawa Senators general manager Bryan Murray is staying put.

Team owner Eugene Melnyk says Murray has agreed to a three-year contract.

Ottawa has struggled most of the season and is just four points ahead of the last-place New York Islanders in the Eastern Conference.

There was no immediate word on the future of head coach Cory Clouston.

Ottawa will take a 32-39-10 record into its season finale against Boston on Saturday afternoon.
