After a series of open houses for transit users to voice their concerns about proposed changes to dozens of routes – they will get a chance to see a revised report on Wednesday afternoon.
Transit Committee Chairwoman Diane Deans told the Ottawa Sun significant changes were made from the original report, which included cutting back hours of service and merging some routes.
During the public consultations more than 1,000 Ottawa residents showed up.
Transit committee members are slated to meet in a week to finalize the report.
If approved it would mean about $20-million worth of savings for OC Transpo annually.
