Sheen warned against smoking on stage

Former TV star Charlie Sheen has been asked to bring his tiger’s blood, but leave his cigarettes behind, as he hits the stage at Toronto’s Massey Hall Thursday night.
Public health inspectors will be in attendance, and Sheen has been warned one on-stage puff from either him or his mistresses and he could be torpedoed directly into trouble.
Sheen has frequently been spotted smoking on-stage during previous stops on his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour, which will be in Toronto for two nights.
Ontario Health Promotion Minister Margarett Best said she is concerned about Sheen’s health.
“We certainly would encourage him, given that he’s a smoker, to call our hotline and to try and quit smoking because that’s very important,” Best said.
Best even offered her personal help to aid Sheen in quitting smoking – she said he could call her directly should he not want to use the province’s smokers’ quit line.
“He can give me a call, I’ll certainly direct him how to get the help he needs,” Best added. “I know that he is a person who is well known, and he has had issues that he may need some help with.”
Sheen, who will be taking the stage with Canadian comedian Russell Peters, has not responded to the comments.
Actor Sean Penn caused a similar stir by smoking on stage during the Toronto International Film Festival several years ago, which resulted in fines against a local hotel.
There is no word on what the repercussions may be if Sheen lights up.
