A controversial survey for Ottawa Public School Board students begins today.
The Privacy Commissioner for the province reviewed the survey and gave it the go-ahead.
Parents of elementary students will fill out a paper form and mail it to the board.
Students in grades seven to 12 will fill it out, on-line, during school hours. If their parents did not want them answering the questions, they had to tell the board by the end of March.
Among the things the board wants to know: sexual orientation, bullying, cultural background and religion.
