Freezing rain warning lifted

The freezing rain warning for eastern Ontario and west Quebec has been lifted.
The Ottawa-Gatineau area, and further into the Valley was covered under a freezing rain warning as a low pressure system chugged into the province from Lake Erie and Lake Ontario in a northeast track putting us right in its path.
All buses in the Ottawa and Gatineau areas ran as scheduled, Wednesday morning, except for the bus traveling to Thomas Darcy McGee Catholic School, which was cancelled.
Also cancelled were buses in Renfrew County. The lone exception in that area were buses heading to Whitney.
Meantime, if you head into the upper Ottawa Valley, a winter storm warning is in effect for those in the Petawawa, Pembroke and Cobden. A mixture of precipitation could bring up to 10 centimeters of freezing rain, in addition to ice pellets and snow to those regions.
And further north-west towards Deep River and Whitney, they are under a snow fall warning which could bring them 15 to 20 centimeters of snow by Wednesday night.
