Advanced polls attract plenty of Easter weekend voters

There seems to be no lack of interest in the upcoming federal election, especially right here in Ottawa.

Advance polls have seen a high voter turnout so far.

The polls, which were open the past two days and will open again Monday have been busy, with little to no complaints about the way they’re being run, unlike those in Toronto.

A volunteer at the polling station in Bells Corners tells the Sun 397 people cast a ballot on Friday alone.

The exact number of voters taking part won’t come out until later this week.
