Forecast on royal wedding day calls for rain

Heavy rain is in the forecast for the royal wedding day on Friday. This may dampen the occasion for the thousands of people that will be lining the streets.
Hello! Canada Editor in Chief, Alison Eastwood, who happens to be in London, told 1310News the bright side to the British forecast.
“People are concerned that it will, typical English style, pour with rain on the wedding day. The great thing about British weather is, it can change in the blink of an eye,” said Eastwood.
In some cultures rain is good luck, and can represent cleansing or stronger unity in the marriage.
Eastwood told 1310News that people are already camping out, making sure they get a good spot outside Westminster Abbey.
“There is one gentleman who is wearing a William and Kate flag and there is an older lady there too,” said Eastwood.
All the British papers are talking about the possible rain, and if it does, Prince William and Kate Middleton will leave Westminster Abbey in the same covered glass coach that the late Princess Diana rode in to St. Paul’s cathedral on her wedding day.
CityTV’s Francis D’Souza is also in London and reported, “you can sit on top of one of those balconies and watch everything happening. It will cost you though!
“100,000 pounds … My goodness that’s expensive,” said D’Souza.
