NDP, Bloc making last-day push before election day

NDP leader Jack Layton is spending his last campaign day in Montreal and Toronto, with a couple of brief stops in between.
Opinion polls have suggested the NDP has gained support in Ontario and Quebec, the two provinces with the most seats in the Commons.
Layton has faced two days of questions about a media report that says he was questioned by police inside a Toronto massage clinic in 1996.
Layton says he did nothing wrong and was in for a therapeutic massage after a workout.
He says afterward, an officer told him the place was shady so he never went back.
There were no arrests or charges laid, and Layton is calling reports of the incident a smear campaign.
Meanwhile, Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe is trying to shore up support in the final hours of the election campaign.
With polls suggesting big losses for the Bloc on Monday, Duceppe brought in Parti Quebecois leader Pauline Marois yesterday.
Marois urged sovereignty-supporters to think twice about voting for the NDP.
She said only the Bloc Quebecois puts Quebec’s interests first.
