Gatineau Police nab Fast and Furious speeders

In spite of prevention efforts at theatres, Gatineau Police say they nabbed a number of speeders after the latest installment of “The Fast and the Furious” hit theatres friday.
12 speeding tickets were handed out including a $680 ticket for going more than 120 kilometres in a 70 kilometre zone and $1,030 ticket for going more than 130 kilometres an hour in a 70 kilometre zone.
While police say they can’t connect all of the speeding offenses to the movie most of the tickets were handed out near theatres.
