Obama will not release bin Laden photo, reports say

There are reports U.S. President Barack Obama will not release photographic evidence of Osama bin Laden’s death. White House officials have scheduled a news conference this afternoon.

Earlier, CIA director Leon Panetta said it’s likely a photo will be made public to satisfy those who don’t believe bin Laden is really dead.

The agency’s top counter-terrorism official once promised to bring bin Laden’s head back on a stake.
