West end fire causes $500, 000 in damage

No injuries after a stubborn fire at 305 Robertson Road in between Bells Corners and Kanata.
Crews got the call just before 7:30 p.m Monday and had the blaze under control by 9:45 p.m.
Ottawa Fire spokesperson Mark Messier says the century-old farm house was boarded up and abandoned.
Damage is estimated at $500, 000 dollars and the building will most likely be torn down.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
